Farm and Recreational Activities

Once you are settled in, come and explore our farm. We have cows, chickens, rabbits, two friendly barn cats, and a very affectionate dog.

Observe or help with daily chores such as collecting eggs and feeding the animals.
We are happy to answer questions about our organic farming operation.

Participate in the haying; enjoy hay rides (in season)

Cut flowers for vases (in season)
Pick fresh vegetables and herbs from kitchen garden (in season)
Hike, bike, or cross-country ski. Bring your binoculars, camera or video camera, backpack, and hiking boots!
Watch the birds, especially hummingbirds and yellow canaries in summer and the blue jays and chickadees in winter.
Relax on the decks or under the shady trees
Observe the stars through our clear night sky
